Today was a HOT day, I learnt the custom of a Malay wedding today. There were alot of tents over 6 all in different houses. But my outfit wasn't as respectful as it should have been. Instead of wearing a "BAJUKURONG" I wore just casual clothes, at least i wasn't the only one...
The wedding was really hot but looked amazing. I wouldn't have been invited if it wasn't at my house. That is because it was our neighbours brothers wedding so they used our house as well as our neighbours.
It was very hot and there was only one fan, but people brought their own portable fan. The girls and guys were separate but where we sat it was mixed. Their were lots of people.
Near the end the broom had circle three times and stop at the door to go to the house and they would do something which I couldn't quite see because there was a whole crowd of people infront of me. But, I found it quite interesting because I've never been to a malay wedding. It was cool.
I need to learn about other customs as it seems cool. To me anyways. hehe
