Today I went to watch the AFC Talentine at Orchid Hotel. It was the most entertaining and fun event I have been to since the Holiday. I could see all the happy faces on stage enjoying themselves singing songs and dancing. All ages were participating in this event.


There were 4 teams: Sapphire, Acts 29, Emerald and Jasper which all participated in 5 different categories: Vocal Walt Disney Classic Song, Asian Cultural Dance, Advertisement Campaign, Choir and Song Composition and Back to the 50s & 60s.

It was amazing to see all the dancers dancing there hearts out and seeing little kids being the star of the show with there cute little faces and outfits. Also some older women and men dancing the smiles on there faces were priceless.

They dressed up in different outfits which must have took them alot of time to make. The look of the props on stage and the effort put in was amazing. The choirs and composition songs they did were really catchy and nice to sing along with.

Also there were 2 special performances one of which was a performance done by David Chin and Mr Aldren Subijano who played the "Kahon" which was a box with a hole in it which the microphone was placed in. They were really good. The other special performance was done by "DS duo" which was a dance like body poppping? I think it was which included moon walks and robot-ish dances. lol.

The Advertisement Campaign was wayyy funny especially Acts 29 and I think Jaspers which were hilarious!

It was really fun and I bet the performers were really nervous but were relieved in the end. Congratulations to Acts 29 who won overall.
